MACHINE SHOP SERVICES
The Machine Shops at all three IMR Locations have numerous tools at their disposal, all of which are geared toward providing quality sample preparation and machining. This allows our analytical staff to get the most accurate analysis of your materials. Our machine shop staff is comprised of professional, knowledgeable experts who are trained in the latest machining techniques. Heading up the machine shop at Ithaca is Larry Canfield, with 21+ years of machining and sample preparation experience. Jim Andrews, Manager – Mechanical/Machine Shop, has also worked as a tool maker and machinist for over 20 years.
