PAKISTAN SURGICAL INSTRUMENT TESTING
Chromium Testing & Visual Inspection to comply with FDA Import Alert 76-01
In 1989, the FDA created Import Alert 76-01, which allows for Detention Without Physical Examination (DWPE) of Pakistan surgical instruments due to low chromium content in tools made by some companies. Now, importers and manufacturers are permitted to provide supporting documentation to demonstrate that their surgical tools pass a visual inspection and contain sufficient chromium for the grade of stainless steel used.
As a top private lab, IMR Test Labs is the one of the first labs to have chromium test reports accepted by the FDA for our clients. We can perform the chromium analysis and visual inspection as required by FDA Import Alert 76-01 and provide the supporting documentation you need.
We have the proven ability to handle large projects and process many samples, while still maintaining traceability and sample identity throughout. Our experts at IMR Test Labs look forward to providing you with superior chromium testing and visual inspection services.
