THERMAL SPRAY COATING ANALYSIS

IMR Test Labs has performed thousands of coating metallography examinations on thermal spray, plasma spray and diffusion coatings. While the majority of our coating analysis customers are from the aerospace industry, a significant number of customers now come from other industries such as automotive, biomedical, oil and gas and power generation.

Diffusion and thermal spray coating analysis presents unique sample preparation and evaluation issues. For that reason, IMR has developed a comprehensive training program titled "Aerospace Metallography and Coating Evaluation." This program, developed jointly with and endorsed by Pratt & Whitney, is offered at IMR throughout the year.

IMR's training, experience, and equipment assure that accurate diffusion, thermal spray, and plasma spray coating analysis results are obtained every time.
