The Machine Shops at all of IMR's worldwide locations have numerous tools at their disposal, all of which are geared toward providing quality sample preparation and machining. This allows our analytical staff to get the most accurate analysis of your materials. Our machine shop staff is comprised of professional, knowledgeable experts who are trained in the latest machining techniques.
Our complete in-house machine shop services staff offers a wide array of machining services: from precision test sample preparation to custom fixture building to prototype machining, we have the tools to do it all.
October 2012 - Our Portland and Suzhou facilities are now offering high precision, low stress grinding. This provides a non-abusive approached to machining and allows us to get a better specimen for your testing by reducing residual stress.
