METALLURGICAL ANALYSIS

The metallography experts at IMR have numerous tools at their disposal to provide our clients in a range of industries with clear, accurate solutions to tough problems. The group is well equipped and staffed to evaluate materials ranging from cast iron to superalloys to composites. They are experienced in classical techniques of metallography, as well as the latest preparation methods. Advanced analytical tools, such as image analysis and scanning electron microscopy (SEM/EDS), are used in their evaluations.

We offer a variety of metallography evaluations, including aggressive machining evaluations, weld qualifications, thermal spray coatings evaluations and more.

For information on our metallurgical analysis capabilities, contact:

George Wildridge (Director-Metallurgy in NY)
Tom Ackerson (Laboratory Director in KY)
Jaret Frafjord (Technical Director in OR)
