Alexis received her Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry from the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, MN and her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Her IMR career started in Ithaca, NY as a Reasearch Chemist and later as Lead Chemist. In 2008, Alexis accepted the opportunity to move to Portland, OR and to help develop the chemistry department in IMR-KHA as Lead Chemist. She has also since taken on the role of Quality Manager. During her tenure, the chemistry department at Portland has already added hydrogen testing to their Nadcap accreditation.
In her spare time, Alexis enjoys golfing, reading, gardening, exploring the Pacific Northwest, and spending time with her husband Doug and daughters Emelia and Lauren.
