Steve holds a BS in Materials Science & Engineering from Cornell University. Before becoming co-owner of Specialty Testing and Equipment, Inc. (and ultimately President of IMR Test Labs until selling to Curtiss-Wright in July of 2011), Steve held positions as an Engineer and a Research Support Specialist. He is an expert on materials and materials testing. One specialized area of expertise is micromechanical testing, which was based on research he conducted at Cornell and subsequent consulting.
