IMR's polymer testing lab offers a variety of tests to verify the composition and material properties of your nonmetallic materials.  Our chemists and engineers have extensive experience working with these materials and can provide answers from basic hardness tests to complex failure analyses.

In our chemistry department we offer such analytical techniques as FTIR / Micro-FTIR analysis, GCMS Analysis (PY, TD), TGA analysis (thermogravimetric) and DSC analysis (differential scanning calorimetry.)  

Our mechanical group offers testing including impact testing, tensile testing, coefficient of expansion, thermo-mechanical analysis (TMA) and much more. We're fully equipped to execute compression testing of polymers, composites and elastomers.  Our concise reports include stress-strain diagrams with data on proportional and elastic limits, yield points and strength, and compressive strength- critical knowledge for decision making.
