Aerospace Metallography and Coating Evaluation TRAINING PROGRAMS

U.S. LAB TRAINING: The aerospace industry consists of several engine manufacturers supported by an even greater number of suppliers. Often, manufacturers have proprietary specifications relating to coating evaluation and disposition. Therefore, IMR Test Labs has developed a training course to meet these needs. Upon completing the course lab and classroom work, a proficiency certificate will be provided. This year, we've expanded the course with updated material, extended hands-on lab time, and a strong focus on the latest advanced materials and coatings technology.

SINGAPORE LAB TRAINING: IMR Test Labs - SPR is a Central Coating Laboratory (CCL) approved by GE Aerospace (GEA). Our next GEA CCL Training Program is scheduled for March 11-15, 2024.

Laboratory personnel must undergo this training course to be certified before testing and evaluating GE Aerospace Thermal Spray Coatings.

Participants who have completed and passed the training program will receive a GE Aerospace (GEA)- recognized certificate.

The Singapore lab offers an Aerospace Metallography and Coating Evaluation Training Program also. Classes will be a similar format to those held at IMR's U.S. Training Center.

Class size minimum is 4 people with a maximum of 10 people. If there are not enough registrations (with payment) received at least 1 month prior to the start date of a particular session, then IMR Test Labs reserves the right to cancel that session due to insufficient interest.  Existing registrants will be contacted to reschedule to a different available session.

NOTES:

STUDENT SAMPLES
Students are encouraged to either bring their own samples of interest to class or provide the samples prior to class for either review by IMR personnel or preparation prior to class.

If samples are provided by the students, individual time can be scheduled for the student to evaluate and review one of their "problem mounts" outside of class hours for individual instruction.  This CANNOT be accomplished during class due to proprietary and ITAR restrictions.

LUNCH
Lunch will be provided on a daily basis.  Any special dietary considerations should be brought to the attention of Lisa Wackowicz: [email protected]
